"I was applying for a role at Monzo (one level above where I'd normally aim) and honestly I nearly cancelled the interview. First couple of practice interviews on Overvue were tough. But I kept going and eventually found my rhythm. Interview's next week and I'm actually excited. Didn't expect that"

Candidates who practice are twice as likely to get the job.
In controlled studies, structured interview practice nearly doubled offer rates.
The interviewer won't know you practiced.
They'll just think you're exceptionally good.
Overvue Sales Assessment FAQs
What is an AI interview simulator?
An AI interview simulator is a practice tool that puts you in a realistic interview conversation before the real one happens.
Instead of reading tips or rehearsing alone in the mirror, you answer real questions out loud - to an AI interviewer that responds, follows up, and pushes back just like a real hiring manager would.
Can't I just practice with ChatGPT?
Of course, you can more or less do anything with ChatGPT - it has been trained to be agreeable, encouraging, and endlessly patient.
Which is lovely. Just not especially useful when you're preparing for something where the person across the table is none of those things.
The feedback will be vague. The scenarios will be generic. And it has no idea what a hiring manager for your specific role actually wants to hear.
How is this different from just Googling interview questions?
Reading answers and saying answers are completely different skills.
Googling gives you a script. This gives you reps. The goal isn't to memorise, it's to get comfortable enough that your answers come naturally, not nervously, when it counts.
Will the questions actually match my interview?
Obviously, we can't predict your actual interview questions - however the simulations are built specifically for the position, and company that you're applying to. That means you're practicing the questions you're actually likely to face, not a one-size-fits-all list that might be completely irrelevant to the job you're going for.
How many times can I practice?
Unlimited. Practice once if you want. Practice fifty times if that's what it takes. There's no cap on attempts, which means there's no excuse to walk in underprepared.
Is it actually as realistic as it seems in the videos?
Yes! It actually feels even more realistic when you're in the call yourself.
The AI is designed to be indistinguishable from a real interviewer, it doesn't just ask questions, it reacts to your answers.
That means you get the same pressure, the same follow-ups, and the same awkward silences you'd get in a real interview.
I have an interview tomorrow, is there enough time to practice?
Yes, start now. Even a single focused session can be enough to sharpen your answers, calm your nerves, and walk in with more confidence than you'd have otherwise. The sooner you start, the more reps you get.
Can I use this for any type of role or industry?
Yes, any role, any industry, any university, any level. Whether you're going for your first job or a senior leadership position, simulations are built around what your specific interview is likely to look like, not a generic template.
Is this better than practicing with a friend?
Different, but in most ways, yes.
A friend will ask bad questions, they will go easy on you. They'll laugh when you fumble. They're not available at midnight when you're anxious about tomorrow.
The AI doesn't do any of that, it shows up whenever you need it, runs the same scenario as many times as you want, and never gets bored.
What does good interview preparation actually look like?
Not reading. Not watching videos. Doing.
The research is clear: performance under pressure improves through repetition, not passive consumption.
Good interview prep means practicing your answers out loud, getting comfortable with the format, and most importantly, getting feedback and actioning that feedback.
Can Overvue be used in different languages?
Yes.
Overvue supports multilingual sales assessments, so candidates can complete roleplays in the language they actually sell in. This includes major languages like English & Finnish, with additional languages supported as required.
This ensures you’re assessing selling skill fairly and consistently across global teams.
